Nick Winton is a practicing architect and advanced studio instructor. Nick is the co-founder and co-design director of Anmahian Winton Architects (AW), in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Recent AW projects include the Joukowsky Institute for Archeology at Brown University, Community Rowing on the Charles River in Boston, the American Indian Learning Center at University of Minnesota-Duluth, and a new office tower in Ankara, Turkey. AW’s work has been widely published and recognized for design innovation and excellence, most notably by the PA Awards, Business Week/Architectural Record Award, and the Chicago Athenaeum American Architecture Award, the Harlston Parker Medal.
Nick received an M.Arch from Harvard Graduate School of Design, and a B.A. from Brown University. Nick is a former Architect in Residence at the Addison Gallery of American Art, is a Trustee of the Institute of Contemporary Art Boston, and a member of the Harvard GSD Alumni Council.
