Darcie Dennigan has two poetry collections, Madame X and Corinna A-Maying the Apocalypse, as well as a poem/play/joke chapbook, The Dept. of Ephebic Dreamery. She has led students in the writing of their poetry at the University of Michigan, where she did her MFA; Brown Continuing Studies; and the University of Connecticut, where she is currently poet in residence. While she also writes book reviews and plays, they seem to always devolve, or evolve, into poems. Inside her writing head, the war between the Oulipians, "the rats who build the labyrinth from which they must escape," and the French surrealists, the parlor game dreamers, rages on.
