Overview
Approximately
40% of the student body who demonstrate artistic and academic excellence and
financial need receive RISD scholarships ranging from $1,500 to $38,000 per
year.
In this section of the site you’ll find information, forms
and deadlines for applying for financial aid. Make note of the relevant
deadlines since any financial aid forms
submitted after the posted deadlines will be considered in light of available
resources.
Students who wish to apply for financial aid at RISD must complete both the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and incoming students should also complete the CSS Profile Application. You must file these forms each year by the deadlines below. International students, visiting students, mobility students and students in other special categories are not eligible for financial aid.
