Returning Students

All returning students (including sophomore, junior, senior, fifth year and graduate students) should complete one application in order to be considered for financial aid. The deadline to complete this application is March 15.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA): RISD’s school code is 003409.

Please note that you cannot complete this application prior to January 1. If you or your parents have not filed your 2012 tax returns, you should complete the FAFSA using estimated information and correct the data once you have filed (please note, however, that awards are estimates until completed information is received). Students who do not apply for financial aid by the deadline but still wish to be considered for federal student loans may still complete the FAFSA application.
