Transfer Applicants
We are dedicated to helping
undergraduate students understand the financial aid process and how best
to finance their education. Students should contact our office if they
have any additional questions or concerns regarding financial aid.
Transfer applicants for the
2013–14 academic year must complete two applications in order to be considered
for financial aid. The deadline to complete these applications is March 15.
- Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA):
RISD’s school code is 003409.
Please note that you cannot complete this application prior to January 1.
If you or your parents have not filed your 2012 tax returns, you should
complete the FAFSA using estimated information and correct the data once you
have filed (please note, however, that awards are estimates until completed
information is received). Students who do not apply for financial aid by the deadline but still wish to be considered for federal student loans may still
complete the FAFSA application.
