Biography
Bruce Chao is a sculptor and teacher whose enthusiasm for experiencing translucency, elasticity in sculptural space, and ephemera, has been furthered by an abiding involvement with glass. Professor Chao has been full-time faculty with RISD Glass since 1982 and is currently acting Department Head for 2012-2013.
