Biography
Chris Oricchio is a Brooklyn, NY based sculptor. He holds an MFA from the New York Academy of Art and a BFA from the Art Institute of Boston. He currently teaches mold making and contributes to the Professional Practices lecture series at NYAA. He works primarily in water-based clay and casts his sculptures in various materials including concrete, resin and bronze. His work focuses on form and explores concepts of memory and perception. Oricchio is the president and founder of Decor Atelier LLC, an online gallery that features fine art and home decor and Studio Senti, a sculpture and casting facility that specializes in custom portrait sculpture.
