Biography
In his role as Co-Founder
and Chief Innovation Officer for Ximedica, Aidan drives innovation in their
core markets of healthcare delivery services, medical device development, and
consumer healthcare.
With a passion for applying a
human-centered approach to system and product design, Aidan has committed
himself to advising and leading expert teams of researchers in collaboration
with a global-base of industry-leading clients to co-create, implement, and
measure solutions that are born from within the projects’ stakeholder groups.
Aidan has published articles on
design leadership as it pertains to usability for the Design Management
Institute among several others.
He has presented at Industrial
Designers Society of America conferences at a national level and advocated on
the value of an art education to the Rhode Island Art Education Council.
He is an adjunct faculty
member to the Graduate Industrial Design program at Rhode Island School of
Design, teaching Design Leadership, and on the Commercial Advisory Board of
MassArt.
