Biography
George
Gordon was born in 1948 in Rochester,
New York. He received his Bachelor of Architecture
degree in 1971 from Case Western Reserve University
in Cleveland, Ohio. Gordon then received his masters’s degree in Furniture Design from RISD
in 1977. Since 1992, Gordon has been a
faculty member at RISD in the Departments of Industrial Design and Graduate
Studies.
