Biography

Matthew S. Kressy is principal of Designturn Inc., a product design firm in Wellesley, Massachusetts, Senior Lecturer at MIT Engineering Systems Division, Adjunct Faculty of Industrial Design at the Rhode Island School of Design and Adjunct Faculty at Babson College. He specializes in creative product solutions, including volume production in Asia, through early integration of all related product development disciplines including manufacturing.

His courses focus on industrial design and its role in interdisciplinary product development and have included collaborations with Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan School of Business. He has lectured on industrial design, integrated product development and integrated product development education, to universities and professional organizations.

He holds a BFA in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design.
