Biography

Joseph James teaches the first year Materials and Grading Course. He is a registered landscape architect and brings to teaching over a decade of designing and constructing civic, cultural & residential landscapes.  He shares with others his interest in folding and sculpting the surface of the earth and developing elegant details out of simple materials.

Joe obtained is Bachelors of Landscape Architecture from Michigan State University and his Master of Landscape Architecture from RISD. He is a Senior Associate with Reed Hilderbrand.
