Faculty play a primary role in advising students about their academic progress and professional development. To supplement academic advising, administrative advising can assist with questions about RISD policy and procedures, or provide referrals to other RISD offices.

At RISD we pride ourselves on providing quality, delicious and
artfully prepared food in a variety of settings. Vegan/vegetarian and
gluten-free options are available at most dining venues, and other
special needs (food allergies or intolerances, Kosher, Halal, etc.) can
be accommodated upon request.

The Financial Aid office helps families in need of
financial assistance to meet the costs of a RISD education. By helping
students to identify appropriate grants, loans, work-study programs and
scholarships, the office works to make it possible for all admitted
students to benefit from attending RISD.

Students and Enrollment
The Office of Students and Enrollment serves as a general advocate
for all RISD students and oversees all matters outside of the
classroom/studio. If you are unsure of which office to contact, please
