Counseling/WellnessEmotional well-being is essential to personal development and
integral to the creative process. RISD’s Office of Student Development
and Counseling Services (SDCS) provides a range of mental health
services to help students improve emotional, interpersonal and academic

DiningAt RISD we pride ourselves on providing quality, delicious and
artfully prepared food in a variety of settings. Vegan/vegetarian and
gluten-free options are available at most dining venues, and other
special needs (food allergies or intolerances, Kosher, Halal, etc.) can
be accommodated upon request.

Financial AidThe Financial Aid office helps families in need of
financial assistance to meet the costs of a RISD education. By helping
students to identify appropriate grants, loans, work-study programs and
scholarships, the office works to make it possible for all admitted
