Jo Sittenfeld is a photographer and filmmaker from Cincinnati, Ohio. She earned her BA summa cum laude from Princeton University in 2002 and earned an MFA in photography from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2008. Interested broadly in the adolescent experience, Sittenfeld has spent the past four years working on a documentary film, Ethan & Jennifer, about two families raising children on the autism spectrum.
Sittenfeld has a national exhibition record, and has been included in shows at Soho Photo in New York, NY; The Museum of Fine Arts in Santa Fe, NM; the Albuquerque Museum in Albuquerque, NM; the Monmouth Museum in Lincroft, NJ; The Princeton University Art Museum in Princeton, New Jersey and the Vermont Center for Photography in Brattleboro, VT. Her work was recently featured as part of the Photographic Resource Center's NEO "Emerging Photographic Artists" series.
