Student Right to Know and the Campus Security Act of 1990
In accordance with federal law (Student Right to Know and the Campus Security Act of 1990) colleges are required to report “statistics concerning the occurrence of specific criminal offenses reported to the local agency” or any official of the college who has “significant responsibility for student and campus activity.”

A pamphlet with all related information is published by the RISD Office of Public Safety by October 1, as required by law, and is available to students, staff and prospective students.
