Health Services Excuse Policy

Health Services will provide excuses only in cases of hospitalization or debilitating illness. In these circumstances, Health Services will notify student’s department and the Student Affairs Office. Health Services will not give excuses for minor illness.

It is the student’s responsibility to contact his/her instructor or department if he/she has missed class due to a minor illness. The instructor may call Health Services to confirm visits.

If the student has not been seen in Health Services, his/her illness cannot be confirmed.
