Bicycle Registration (PDF)

Public Safety encourages students to register their bike/scooter in an
effort to deter theft. U-Locks are available at the RISD Store. Helmets
should be worn at all times and traffic laws must be obeyed.
Operation Identification (PDF)
Operation
ID deters theft by placing ID labels on personal property where they
can be seen by a potential thief. RISD Public Safety offers this service
free of charge to students, staff and faculty. Bring your laptop, iPod,
MP3 player, cell phone, iPhone or any other item of value with a serial
number to be recorded.

Personal Alarms (PDF)
A personal alarm is a small portable device that emit a 120 dcb siren for use as a personal safety tool. They are available to students, staff and faculty free of charge.
Red Cross First Aid and CPR training (PDF)
American
Red Cross classes, including First Aid and CPR, are scheduled monthly
and offered free of charge to students, staff and faculty through the
RISD Department of Public Safety.
