    Gwen Farrelly | RISD Global

    Gwen Farrelly leads RISD Global, guiding, supporting and overseeing the college's academic internationalization and global engagements through the development of global programs and partnerships, hub sites, multiyear initiatives and international relations. She holds an MA in Art History from the Courtauld Institute of Art in London and a BA in the History of Art and Italian from Trinity College in Dublin. Farrelly's PhD research at the Graduate Center, CUNY, focuses on postwar art in a global context, and she teaches courses addressing global art history.

    Neal Overstrom | Edna Lawrence Nature Lab

    Biologist, designer and educator Neal Overstrom has been director of the Nature Lab since 2010. He earned a BS in Biology from the University of Connecticut, an MA in Zoology from Connecticut College and an MA in Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst. Before coming to RISD, Overstrom held senior positions in exhibit development, zoological management and aquatic animal research at Mystic Aquarium in Connecticut.

  • Jen Liese | Writing Center

    Jen Liese | Writing Center

    Director of the Writing Center Jen Liese leads a team of approximately 20 undergraduate and graduate student tutors along with three staff members who provide tutoring and workshops in writing for all RISD students. She also co-coordinates a grant-funded pilot program supporting research and practice in integrative teaching and learning at RISD. Before joining the Writing Center, Liese was an editor at Artforum and worked in the photography department at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. She holds an MA in Modern Art History, Theory and Criticism from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

    Mark Moscone | Campus Exhibitions

    Mark Moscone 88 PR has directed the Campus Exhibitions office since 2007, overseeing on-campus exhibition spaces, including Woods-Gerry Gallery, Sol Koffler Graduate Student Gallery and the Gelman Gallery. He and his staff work closely with students to provide them with crucial exhibition experience in a professional gallery setting. Before becoming director, Moscone worked at the RISD Museum and as a coordinator for Campus Exhibitions.
