GS Conference Fund

Graduate Studies now offers a program to support student participation in academic and professional conferences and symposia.

In recent years, graduate students have benefitted from professional connections made at events such as the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF), the National Art Education Association (NAEA) annual convention, NCECA (National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts) conferences, SOFA (Sculpture Objects Functional Art + Design) events, Salone Internazionale del Mobile (the Milan Furniture Fair), Clinton Global Initiative events and American Institute of Architects conferences, among other professional gatherings.

To receive support through the GS | Conference Fund, you must be a full-time graduate student in good academic standing and have a confirmed invitation to present your work publicly at the event in question. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but students are eligible to receive conference fund support no more than once per academic year.

Contact Graduate Studies for more information and application guidelines.
