This program prepares students either to enter the field of historic preservation or to better inform their existing careers or volunteer work. The curriculum emphasizes practical skills and essential concepts and is presented through a broad program of study on principles established by the National Council on Preservation Education (NCPE) and real world applications. Certificate candidates receive a well-rounded exposure to the many facets of historic preservation and can combine electives to focus their course of study.
