The Fusion Arts Exchange intensive workshops is led by a group of extraordinary RISD faculty:

Daniel Peltz, Department of Film/Animation/Video.
Peltz is founder of RISDtv, an on-line video call and response project, which has most recently collaborated with students and faculty in Cameroon. He has mounted installations and multi-media projects around the world and has been honored with a Fulbright Fellowship for autumn 2007 to conduct research in Scandinavia.

Peter Hocking, Division of Graduate Studies and Office of Public Engagement.
Hocking is the past director of Brown University’s Swearer Center for Public Service; founding board member of New Urban Arts (a nationally recognized after-school program for youth); and faculty member in Goddard College’s Interdisciplinary Master of Fine Arts program.

Catherine D’Ignazio, Department of Digital Media.
D’Ignazio is a performance and installation artist noted for interventions in public spaces; past Director of Art Interactive digital media gallery in Boston; co-founder of iKatune; and founder of the Institute for Infinitely Small Things.

John Caserta, Department of Graphic Design.
Caserta is the designer of interactive web media for NY Times; past creative director at the Chicago Tribune; and an installation designer and specialist in data visualization.
