ART + DESIGN EDUCATION: CURRICULUM

The department offers two programs of graduate study: the one-year Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT), a professional degree leading to recommendation for K-12 teacher certification in the visual arts; and the two-year Master of Arts (MA), a research-based degreee with study tracks in teachers’ professional development, museum education and community arts education.
