Free-for-All Saturdays offer fun for the entire family. A variety of hands-on workshops, performances, videos and special gallery quests throughout the day. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

MAY 31 | East Meets West
Pay special tribute to Asian American Heritage Month in this event. Search for Asian art treasures in the galleries and in workshops make a New Years dragon or learn to write your name in Korean. At 3pm, in the RISD Auditorium, Boston’s Chinese Folk Art Workshop amazes with traditional dance, drumming and acrobatics.

JUNE 28 | Styroworld
Check out the Styrofoam exhibition and find out how artists create imaginative and beautiful works using this material. In workshops, held both inside and outdoors (weather permitting), make your own cool styro-art to take home. Rhode Island's own Big Nazo puppet creatures will animate the day's program with their outlandish costumes and zany antics.
