RISD Commencement (Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 10am) is a vibrant culmination of the RISD experience. Graduates typically festoon their caps and gowns with wonderful or outrageous decorations or create a costume of their own design. Commencement takes place outdoors (rain or shine), with the city of Providence and its revitalized waterfront as a spectacular backdrop.
