Iain Bernhoft

Iain Bernhoft received his MA and PhD in Modern and Contemporary American Literature from Boston University, where his dissertation examined historical forms of illusionism in contemporary fiction. His work has appeared in The Cormac McCarthy Journal. In addition to stage magic in contemporary fiction and film, his teaching and research interests include the history of the novel, modernism, transnationalism, film and film genres and the American attachment to authenticity.
