Orientation follows check-in
All Pre-College students, including commuters, are required to attend Check-In. Identification cards are issued, class schedules are distributed, housing is assigned, and prepaid charge accounts may be established at the RISD Store. Following check-in students and families convene for Orientation.

Please note: Orientation schedule and location wil be listed in the Student Handbook.

Late Arrivals
If you expect to arrive late to Check-In, please notify the Residence Life office at rlo@risd.edu or 401 454-6650 by 4:30pm EST on Friday, June 26. Detailed instructions regarding late check-in are provided in the Student Handbook.

Please note: schedules and other critical information will not be available until the Summer Sessions office opens on the first day of classes, Monday, June 29, at 8am.

Check-Out Day: Saturday, August 8, 2009
Summer students who live on campus must be completely checked out by noon on Saturday, August 8. Airport vans are available to T.F. Green Airport (www.airporttaxiri.com or 401 737-2868), about 25 minutes away.
