Facilities

The mission of the Rhode Island School of Design’s Facilities Department is to improve and sustain all of RISD’s buildings, grounds and common areas, and to provide technical service and support to the RISD community through a team of maintenance professionals who are well trained and caring. Facilities is also responsible for campus construction projects. The office of Construction Planning and Management coordinates and monitors all phases of design, construction and post-production to ensure the scope and mission of each project.
