The health and well being of our student body is profoundly important to us and we therefore take food allergies, intolerances and other dietary needs very seriously. We ask that all students who require special diets go through the following steps to ensure that we can accommodate them.
- If students have an allergy or intolerance they need to please register this information with Health Services so assistance can be given if there are any issues.
- Once Health Services has confirmed your condition it is easier for Dining to work on special menus. Please contact the Associate Director for Dining to discuss individual needs.
- If students require special diets due to their beliefs (i.e. Kosher or Halal) they need to contact Associate Director Pierre St-Germain at email@example.com or (401) 454-6362.
If students have questions about what is available at any Dining venue they may ask the Chef/Managers or Assistant Chef/Manager of the facility. There are generally vegan/vegetarian and gluten-free options at most Dining venues, also The Met and Portfolio café, are nut-free for production and service.
