Museum of Art

The Museum of Art was founded as part of the Rhode Island School of Design in 1877. Today, its permanent collection consists of nearly 84,000 works of art from diverse periods, cultures, and genres. RISD faculty, staff, and students receive membership benefits including free admission and invitations to special openings and programs.
