Arianna Deane

Assistant Professor

Arianna Deane is an architect and educator based in New York City. With a passion for design activism and non-traditional modes of practice she co-founded A+A+A in 2018 with Andrea Chiney and Ashely Kuo. A+A+A is a multidisciplinary studio committed to making places more collaborative, inclusive and joyful. Through this practice Deane explores methods of creative engagement, radical listening and the transformation of space through co-creation with communities to better suit their needs.

She has experience working across the country designing and managing projects from the scale of the object to the scale of a building, master plans and the immeasurable scale of experiences. She has also worked as a researcher and educator in spaces including Columbia GSAPPs Waste Initiative, NJIT College of Architecture and Parsons School of Design.
