Peter Heller is an architectural designer at EvB Design in Somerville, MA. His interests include design for resilience to climate change, mass timber, parametric design, physical making and analytical/computational methods. Before coming to architecture, he worked as a carpenter, taught math at MIT and served as an engineering leader at Aware, Inc. and Qualcomm. Heller has authored numerous patents and research papers on electronics, signal processing and mathematics. He has a BS in mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an MA and PhD in math from Princeton, and an MArch from RISD, where he was awarded the Alpha Rho Chi medal.
