Zaid Kashef Alghata

Zaid Kashef Alghata is the founder and lead designer of House of ZKA, a collection of architectural explorations produced in the form of projects, exhibitions and interviews. The work was exhibited at Jai & Jai Gallery in Los Angeles and the Museum of Modern Art in Bologna. He is currently working at CBT Architects in Boston. He has previously worked on theaters, residential towers and mixed-use developments of various scales at Gensler, Los Angeles and UN Studio, Hong Kong.

He was an invited juror for studio reviews at the Architectural Association, SCI-Arc, Knowlton School of Architecture, Columbia’s GSAPP, UCLA’s AUD & Supra Studios, AA Visiting School Los Angeles and Mexico City, the Urban Design Lab at Columbia’s Earth Institute and the University of Bahrain.

Kashef Alghata holds a post-professional MArch from Princeton University, a BArch from the Southern California Institute of Architecture and a foundation degree from the Architectural Association.
