Josh Meier

Josh Meier is an artist and critic. He received an MFA in painting from RISD and a BFA in visual art and art history from the University of Kansas. He also attended the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture. Recent exhibitions include 1969, New York, NY; SÍM Gallery, Reykjavík, Iceland; Brown Granoff Center, Providence, RI; PDX Contemporary Art, Portland, OR; Wonder Fair, Lawrence, KS; and the RISD Museum. In 2018 he was an artist-in-residence at SÍM Seljavegur, Iceland and in summer 2020 he completed coursework through Harvard University. He has previously taught at Brown University, Colorado College and Anderson Ranch.
