Yevgeniy Koramblyum is the founder of Oomstudios. His work bridges computational design, 3D modeling and digital fabrication. His interest in 3D modeling began when he took up 3D Studio Max during an architecture internship at MJMA architects in high school. After earning a BArch from Cooper Union, he continued to focus on 3D modeling both at Tow Studio Architecture and at the art studio of Mariko Mori, where he worked at the intersection of computational design, interactive experiences and digital fabrication. In 2015 Koramblyum founded Oomstudios, where he provides design and consulting services focused on computational and 3D design for such clients as Nike, Macy’s, Hypersonic Art and Design, Jason Krugman and Modos furniture. In addition to teaching at RISD, he is an adjunct professor at City Tech School of Architectural Technology in NYC.
