Andrew Gutterman

Andrew Gutterman is an associate principal at Sasaki based in the Boston area with almost 20 years of professional experience as a landscape architect. His background in ecology has helped foster a deep appreciation for the beauty and complexity of the natural world and a strong belief that these qualities can be brought to the built environment in meaningful ways. His professional experience spans the full spectrum of project types, with a particular emphasis on creating high-quality landscapes for academic and institutional clients.

Gutterman holds an MLA in Landscape Architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design, where he was the recipient of the Charles Eliot Traveling Fellowship, and a BS in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Connecticut. He is a frequent lecturer and guest speaker on the topic of sustainable landscapes, and his work has been featured in numerous publications.
