Jade Cummings is a registered landscape architect and LEED®AP certified professional with project experience that spans a broad range of municipal, commercial, residential, educational and recreational developments.
In addition to teaching at RISD, Cummings has taught sustainable design as a visiting instructor at the Landscape Institute at Harvard University. She is co-founder of an Arlington, MA landscape architecture practice, Terraink, with projects ranging from mixed-use development to commercial, institutional and high-end residential projects within the New England region. At Terraink Cummings is responsible for the master planning, design development, construction, documentation and implementation processes, including tasks related to client and interest group coordination, site inventory/analysis, conceptual design development, site plan renderings, visual representation, construction document development and construction administration.
Cummings has also served as the commissioner of the Arlington Historic Districts Commission in Arlington, MA and as an architectural thesis advisor at the Boston Architectural College.
