Richard Killeaney was raised in San Diego, CA. He received his BA in Studio Art and French from Hobart College and a MFA in Textiles from RISD in 2003. He has sold paper airplanes professionally, taught art in a children’s museum, worked for a winery and taught English to French high school students. Recently he taught textiles design to fashion students at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and other colleges. He subscribes to the idea that green design can look good.
