International Student and Scholar Affairs
International Student and Scholar Affairs is a dedicated advocate for RISD’s international community. We help international students integrate into the RISD community and make the most of their experiences here.
Offering comprehensive support throughout a student's academic career, our expert staff provides a wide range of services, including:
- obtaining and renewing the F-1 visa
- securing authorization for on- and off-campus work
- supporting cultural and language adjustment to RISD and the US
- navigating US systems
- assisting with and processing important forms
The office hosts social events and workshops on immigration, employment and other topics throughout the year. We also coordinate orientation for incoming international students.
