A massive public exhibition of work by students about to earn their RISD master's degrees, the annual graduate thesis exhibition is the culmination of each student's unique experience at RISD. Transforming a large space into a network of smaller galleries, the show affords students an opportunity to showcase multiple pieces from their final body of thesis work.
Grad Show 2021 | opens May 27
Featuring work by graduate students earning their degrees this year, RISD Grad Show 2021 will highlight the creativity of students at all stages of the thesis process, from sketches and drafts to completed works. The show will be presented both as a digital publication and as in-person exhibitions at the RISD Museum’s Chace Gallery and the WaterFire Arts Center, with the in-person event open to current students, faculty and staff.
Launching on the same day as the Chace Center and WaterFire Arts Center openings, the Grad Show 2021 digital publication will showcase work by RISD grad students across 16 advanced degree programs.
