Rowan Shaw-Jones

Rowan Shaw-Jones is a furniture maker, designer, and craftsperson based between Rhode Island and Massachusetts, where he runs Shaw Jones Furniture Maker. His practice spans original studio pieces and custom commissions for private clients.

Trained in studios and high-end fabrication shops on both coasts and later earning a BFA in Furniture Design from RISD, Rowan has been designing and making for over a decade. Although a furniture maker at heart, he has also worked as a timber framer, boat builder, metal worker, and commercial fisherman.
