Meher Divya Manda

Meher Manda is a writer of fiction, poetry, and criticism; editor-at-large at Radix; an award-winning, independent publisher; and lecturer at Rhode Island School of Design. Originally from Bombay, India, she is currently based in Providence, RI. Her debut short story collection, Sicko Girl & Other Women, is forthcoming from Penguin Random House in India and Feminist Press in the US in spring 2027. A Town Like Every Other is her debut graphic novel forthcoming from Hachette India in 2027. Her poetry collection, Some of Many Women, was named a finalist for the 2026 Gaudy Boy Book Prize and the 2025 Colorado Prize for Poetry. She is the author of the poetry chapbook Busted Models (No, Dear/Small Anchor, 2019), and her work has been published in Catapult, epiphany, The Margins, Los Angeles Review, and Wildness, among other publications. 

As a journalist, she writes about the intersection of culture and politics, with a focus on South Asian works of art. Her criticism can be found in Foreign Policy Mag, The Juggernaut, The Guardian, Bustle, and elsewhere. A Best New Poets and Best of the Net Anthology nominee, she has been featured in Brooklyn Poets, Hyperallergic, The Polis Project, The Hindu, and more.
