Block Demo: Accordions

Anchor links to blocks below:

Accordion: general features and variants

This is the default “No style” version of the Accordion block. When you begin to build the block, the “Expand/Collapse” dropdown is set at “None”. In most cases you should set this dropdown to “Close”.

If you want to provide context for your accordion content, you can add copy to the top of the block via the “Description” field. Your intro copy will appear in this space.

Accordion: calendar variant

Use the calendar variant for lists of events, newsletter archives, or other date-specific information. Enter date/time ranges into the “Number / Date / Time” field. Format months using the first three letters of the month in all caps (JAN, FEB, etc.).

Accordion: ordered list variant

The Accordion block’s Ordered List variant automatically adds a number to the left of each accordion item, in blue and formatted sequentially (01, 02, 03...).
