Asher Rodriquez-Dunn is a designer and educator whose work bridges material exploration, craft, and technology. He believes that design is as much about how things are made as why they are made—that intention, material understanding, and the act of making by hand connect us to something deeply human. His practice emphasizes the relationship between traditional processes and contemporary technologies, valuing iteration, refinement, and the pursuit of authenticity in both process and outcome.

Rodriquez-Dunn is the founder of Studio DUNN, a Rhode Island–based design studio recognized for its lighting designs, and previously founded Keeseh Studio, a community woodshop providing shared space, equipment access, and education. His work has been featured in Forbes, Vogue, Dwell, Architectural Digest, and The New York Times, among other publications. He was inducted into the Rhode Island Design Hall of Fame, recognized by Forbes “30 Under 30,” and received the ICFF Editors Award for Emerging Designer. His work is also included in the permanent collection of the Yale University Art Gallery.
