Lauren Allen

Lauren Allen is an artist, educator and arts administrator. She earned a BA in Studio Art from the University of Mary Washington in Virginia in 2008 and an MA in Art + Design Education, with a focus on community arts education, from RISD in 2014. While pursuing her graduate degree, she worked with Project Open Door (POD) as a graduate research assistant and as a teaching artist at Hope High School. She currently serves as POD’s associate director.
