Lauren Maas

Lauren Maas earned an MFA in Fiction from Virginia Commonwealth University and a BA in English with a minor in Creative Writing from College of Charleston. Prior to working at RISD, she held positions as assistant professor of English at Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar and adjunct instructor of English at VCU in Richmond. She has also worked as a writer and editor for a number of publications—including Into the Gloss, Crazyhorse and Makeout Creek—and organizations—including VCUQatar and cycling startup, Superpedestrian.
