The Provost’s Office offers administrative structure to Academic Affairs and collaboratively supports and augments the academic work of faculty, students, and staff across departments. The Provost's Office also provides oversight support to RISD’s four academic divisions:
- Architecture + Design Division
- Experimental and Foundation Studies (EFS) Division
- Fine Arts Division
- Liberal Arts Division
Additionally, the vice president of Student Life reports directly to the provost.
