Kyung-Me C

Kyung-Me C is a New York–based artist and educator working across drawing, painting, and graphic novels. Her practice includes highly detailed ink drawings of interior architectural spaces as well as spontaneous ink and watercolor paintings. She has exhibited nationally and internationally for over a decade and is represented by Bureau (New York) and Kiang Malingue (Hong Kong).

For the past five years, she has taught at Rhode Island School of Design, New York University, and Pacific Northwest College of Art. In her teaching, she helps students develop a personal visual language by working with the images and narratives that surface in their inner lives, encouraging a deeper and more intuitive relationship to their art and materials.
