Amanda Harding

Amanda Harding is the chief operating officer at Stephen Turner, Inc., a building commissioning consulting firm focused on high-performance and energy-efficient buildings. A Rhode Island School of Design alumna with a background in interior architecture, she has spent over a decade working hands-on with building systems, construction teams, and owners to understand how buildings function. Amanda has progressed through nearly every role at the company, giving her a practical, real-world perspective on design, construction, and building operations.

Amanda has led commissioning projects for new construction and existing buildings, with a focus on energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and long-term performance. She is passionate about helping students connect design intent to real-world systems, empowering them to understand energy and building systems as integrated, human-centered tools rather than abstract technical concepts.
