Kylie Bodiya
Kylie Bodiya has garnered extensive experience in Revit and the BIM Process over the past seven years. When she began her career, she quickly fell in love with retail design. In her current position as architectural project manager for Swarovski North America, she designs and manages retail spaces across the US, including in-line and corner stores, remodels, street stores and partner boutiques. Since beginning at Swarovski, she has successfully transferred the entire design team from CAD to Revit and has created a stand-alone template for the retail rollout process.
Bodiya also works with architectural consultants to take approved designs and Revit models from schematic design into the construction document phase. By adopting a Building Information Modeling (BIM) process with Revit, she is able to coordinate the overall design much more efficiently and streamline the entire design process. With her help, Swarovski has become a front-runner in adopting a BIM process in the retail industry.

Revit is one of the most comprehensive and widely used BIM programs in the world. The software closes the gap between 3D geometry and building component data. This course will introduce students to Revit utilizing a hands-on approach. The class will introduce the essential concepts of the software through weekly class lectures/ tutorials. Weekly assignments will allow students to use their knowledge to complete real-life design tasks. Hands-on exercises will also focus on software interface, creation of parametric families and creation of construction document sets.
