April Liu

April Liu (Liu Lei) is cofounder of ArtEchive, an independent curator, and an art writer. Her research and curatorial practice focus on landscapes of extractivism in Chinese contemporary art and the politics of visibility within art institutions. April holds degrees from Rhode Island School of Design and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Born and raised in Shanxi Province, China, she currently lives and works between New England and Hong Kong.
