Senjuti Sangia

Senjuti Sangia (she/her) is a researcher and multidisciplinary designer. Her design practice is embedded in an exploration of strategy, research, archiving, feminist and decolonial pedagogy, and community-based and participatory design-led projects. Her scholarly research is situated at the intersections of design studies and feminist studies, with a focus on examining the epistemological and methodological paradigms in design practice and pedagogy.
She is formally trained as an industrial designer from the National Institute of Design, India (2020), and is an alum of RISD’s MA Global Arts and Cultures program (2024). Her master’s thesis presented a speculative inquiry into design, situated knowledge, feminist whisper networks, and what a retooling of the former, shaped by the latter, may entail.
